About the Platform

This website brings together the international academic conferences organised by the European Hebrew Journal (EHJ) and the Institute for Hebrew Language and Literature.

The Institute for Hebrew Language and Literature is the organisational and research unit of the Center for Hebrew Language and Literature, an independent non-governmental research organisation established in 2010 and headquartered in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.

The conferences address Biblical Studies, Hebrew language and literature, Jewish Studies, Theology, Religious Studies, archaeology, textual traditions, religion and society, and interreligious relations. Each event has its own subject, programme, speakers and participation requirements.

The European Hebrew Journal is the principal academic organiser of the conferences presented below, with organisational support from the Institute for Hebrew Language and Literature.

New Discoveries and New Directions in Biblical, Hebrew, and Theological Studies

European Hebrew Journal International Scholarly Online Conference

6–10 November 2026 · Online via Zoom · Central European Time (CET)

This five-day conference brings together research on the Hebrew Bible, Biblical Hebrew, the Dead Sea Scrolls, ancient manuscripts, textual criticism, Biblical Archaeology, Jewish Studies, early Christianity and Theology. The programme includes presentations on philology, translation, ancient history, digital research methods and scholarly publishing.

Religion, Society & Interreligious Studies Conference Series
